Christmas M&M Monster Cookie Mix in a Mason Jar

We enjoy making Christmas cookies every year and we usually stick to the same favorites. This Christmas M&M Monster Cookie is a new one for us. We love M&M cookies, but this is the first time we’ve tried the monster cookie (with oats and chocolate chips, too). I like the idea of Mason jar gifts, so I thought it would be nice to combine the two ideas into one and do something different this year. If you enjoy giving homemade gifts, give this one a try!

So that’s the finished product after the mix is cooked. I’m going to be honest here and say that we prefer these cookies minus the oats. We like everything plain in our family and have some family members with sensory issues that cause them to like a smoother consistency. No biggie! I’m always an advocate for doing what works best for your family. You can modify the ingredients as necessary to suit your taste!

  1. I’d love to know if you replace the oats with something else, or do you increase the amount of one of the other ingredients.
