Frugal DIY Gift Jar for Tween or Teen Girls
Sometimes you need a quick gift idea to take to a birthday party or even a Valentine’s Day or Christmas gift exchange. You want something nice that won’t break the bank, yet something most tween or teen girls would be really happy to receive. With my oldest daughter’s help, I’ve put together this Frugal DIY Gift Jar for Tween or Teen Girls. You could even use them as party favors for a thirteenth birthday party, or maybe a Sweet Sixteen.
Supplies needed:
Mood Lipstick
Hair ties/bands
Furry gloves
All of these items can be found at your local Dollar Tree or on Amazon. If you don’t find these exact items you can always look at other teen friendly items such as colorful scented gel pens, washi tape, or mini perfumes and cosmetics.
Directions:
1. In order to make sure all of the items fit, remove all of the materials from their packaging.
2. Start filling the jar, adding one item at a time until the pieces are stacked nicely inside.
3. Continue layering everything, working it to fit inside of the jar. Be sure it shows through the jar and items can be viewed from the outside.
4. Replace the lid and add some ribbon around the mouth of the jar.
