The BeLOVED Life™ Inspirational Travel Pillow Review & Giveaway
We all know that the tween years are a time of transition. It can be difficult to have that feeling of wanting to fit in with the crowd, yet still wanting to be considered a unique individual. When it comes to expressing faith during those years, it can be even more difficult to find ways to do that. The BeLOVED Life™ inspirational travel pillow was designed exactly for this age group to have a stylish way of expressing their faith and being reminded of their unique place in God’s plan.
What is The BeLOVED Life™ Pillow?
The BeLOVED Life™ inspirational plush travel pillows were created by Mimi Tin, who felt there was a void in the Christian market for colorful, trendy products that pre-teens could be proud to have and share with their friends. She wanted something that could get kids excited about learning and memorizing God’s word so they could grow in their faith. Each pillow has an embroidered verse on one side and a cute graphic on the other side. They come in several different colors and styles, for both boys and girls.
We had the opportunity to try out the purple princess style of pillow. Let me tell you, with three daughters this pillow is ideal for us! My youngest (almost 8) asked if she could be the reviewer for this one. I’m going to need to buy more for my older two! She immediately put it to the test by carrying it around, putting her stuff in the pockets, and sleeping with it in her bed. She loves the super soft fuzziness and the fact she can hide little trinkets inside to carry them around. She has also used it as a cushion during reading time. The princess crown design is pretty and it suits her perfectly.
The little velcro-close holder on the strap can fit a cell phone, crayons, or in our case, Polly Pocket and other small toys. There is also a pocket on the verse side of the pillow. It could hold paper to go with the crayons, or maybe pajamas for a sleepover. You can also store the detachable strap in that pocket if you choose.
We also received a cute clip-on mini that looks like the SHINE style pillow. My daughter clipped it on to the zipper on her backpack.
I wish I could explain just how soft this pillow is. It is so comfy and so handy to carry with the strap attached. When you don’t need the strap, it easily comes off.
Obviously, the pillows would be nice for kids beyond just that tween range. Younger kids and teens can appreciate them, too. My older daughters (almost 10 and 15) both think the pillows are great. They have their eyes on the cupcake design and the LOVE design.
