DIY Farmhouse Style Christmas Card Tree
Need a clever and cute way to display all the Christmas cards you get this year? Try this quick and simple DIY Christmas Card Tree!
In the past, I’ve usually put our Christmas cards on the mantel, taped them around door frames, or even nestled them in the Christmas tree branches. It seems like there’s never enough room and I wanted a way to display them creatively that didn’t look tacky. I don’t have time for a lot of complicated projects around the holidays, plus I wanted it to be something my girls could do, too.
I think I found a simple and affordable solution with this project!

DIY Christmas Card Tree Supplies:
- Star (Ours is card stock, but felt or craft foam would work!)
- Twine
- Bulbs
- Hooks
- Masking tape or painter’s tape
- Clothes pins
- 3M Decorating clips

DIY Christmas Card Tree Directions:
Step 1: Place your star (with masking tape on the back) to the wall at your height of choice.

Step 2: Outline your tree shape with the twine, zig-zag style, using the masking tape as a rough draft.
Step 3: Once you’ve gotten the shape and size you like for your wall space, use the 3M decorating clips and place them at the corners of the tree according to the directions.
Step 4: Hook the twine on the clips so they are secure.

Step 5: Place bulbs at the corners to disguise the clips and strips.
Step 6: Hang cards with clothes pins.

The farmhouse style is so popular and gives a cozy feel to your Christmas decorations. This DIY Christmas card tree is not only practical, it’s cute!
