Fun Games For Kids {and the Whole Family}

Answers in Genesis

Silly and fun games for kids can start a great family tradition. There are tons of choices, of course, but I’m sharing some of our personal favorites that we play again and again.

Fun games for kids that the whole family will love | silly games for family fun

We have a tradition in our family of playing games together on Christmas Eve and again for New Year’s. Of course we have other family game nights, but the holidays are the marathon game-playing sessions. Although we have a few regular favorites, we usually try to add a new game to our collection every year. We generally like educational games such as Passport to Culture and word games like Scrabble, but sometimes you just want something fun and silly that gets the whole family laughing together.

Some of these games, like Connect 4 and Jenga are ones that I played when I was younger. It’s fun to share those with my kids now.

Here is a list of fun games for kids — and the rest of the family, too! They have a wide age range so no one will be left out.

This was my youngest daughter’s first favorite game after Candyland. We have spent many hours playing this one and still do often!

So these are just a few silly and fun games for kids that the whole family can enjoy. These aren’t necessarily educational, but they do promote quality time and family togetherness. In our heart and soul homeschool, we believe that building those relationships is just as important as academics!
