Dinosaur National Monument Awesome Science DVD {Moms of Master Books review}
We’ve enjoyed the chance to review several of the Awesome Science DVDs in the past and we haven’t been disappointed with the amount of fascinating information and beautiful photography in them. We were glad to have the opportunity to review the latest installment with Explore Dinosaur National Monument for Moms of Master Books.
My girls (13, 7, & 5) have gone through various phases of interest in dinosaurs. Since we live in the northeast, actually visiting Dinosaur National Monument in the west isn’t likely to happen anytime soon. It was so neat to see it in the DVD! It’s not always easy to find dinosaur resources that support a Biblical worldview, so I appreciate the creation science approach in the Awesome Science series.
Big Sis wrote her own review that I wanted to share:
This was a very interesting DVD about dinosaur fossils and the world wide flood from the Bible and how they both are proved by science. In this DVD I learned about how people dig for fossils and how they could tell the difference from a rock and a real fossil. I learned about how dinosaurs went extinct during the flood and afterwards. I also learned about ancient artifacts that have some creatures that look like dinosaurs, which shows that people and dinosaurs were around at the same time.
It was cool seeing the area where so many fossils have been found at Dinosaur National Monument. They also talked about how science proves out the Bible. We have seen other shows from Awesome Science before and I have really liked all of them. They all show different things in science that prove the Bible.
Included on the bonus features of this DVD are some bloopers of the making of this video, which were funny.
Be sure to read the other reviews and attend the Facebook party hosted by Moms of Master Books on the last Monday of every month!
