Would a Worm Go on a Walk? Book Review & Giveaway
It’s always fun to add a great new picture book to our collection. Books with colorful illustrations and good stories really encourage kids to read. Would a Worm Go on a Walk? by Hannah C. Hall is a beautifully illustrated, funny rhyming book that teaches kids about God’s unique design and purpose for life.
My Daughter’s Review:
Would a Worm Go on a Walk? isn’t just about a worm. It’s also about a piglet, a ladybug, a rhino, a lion, a penguin, a possum, and a turtle. They’re all doing things like wearing rain coats, singing, dancing, being a life guard, sky diving, and other silly things that animals don’t do. In the end, it tells about how they’re all designed with a purpose and that they are all works of art, but that we are the masterpiece of God’s creation. It has a Bible verse at the end:
God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. – GENESIS 1:31A
It is a humorous story with a good moral lesson. We really liked the drawings and it was fun that the story rhymed.
