White as Snow
As I followed the tracks in the snow made by the girls on their sleds, this verse came to mind. The snow was so incredibly white and clean-looking, until we made our tracks across it. It made me think about what Jesus has done for us, to cover over our transgressions and inequities.
God gives us beautiful imagery in His word, doesn’t He? It paints a picture for us so that we can grasp the meaning in our everyday lives. Amidst the ugliness of life’s insults and injuries, God gives us beauty. In a world stained by the wages of sin, He gives us faith, hope, and love to sustain us.
It’s something to think about as we approach a new year — that we are new creations in Jesus if we choose to give Him our hearts.
Washed clean. Made new. White as snow.

It’s amazing how life reminds us of scripture.

The Paper Maid
“shall be as white as snow” You picked a perfect picture for that verse.
Thank you! The snow was so blindingly white with the sun reflecting off of it that day that it’s hard to imagine anything whiter than snow! It’s a powerful visual image in that verse. I love how God uses beautiful imagery like that to show us His love.
Beautiful picture & scripture! Happy to be following you.
I love the sled marks in the snow. Our backyard is full of them!
