Homemade Easter Egg Cookie Pops
My girls love to do creative baking projects, especially when it’s holiday-related. Since we can’t make Christmas cookies every week of the year, I’m always trying to come up with fun baking ideas they’ll enjoy. These homemade Easter Egg Cookie Pops are one of their favorites! Very simple, but they are so cute and yummy. Give them a try!
Homemade Easter Egg Cookie Pops
The hardest part of this recipe is keeping my girls from eating the raw dough! 🙂 It is so yummy.
Ingredients-
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cups flour
1 egg
1/2 cup soft butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
—
1/4 cup Easter sprinkles
Supplies–
Directions-
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine your flour, baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt and set aside.
4. In a large mixing bowl mix together your softened butter and sugar.
5. Add your egg and Vanilla to your sugar and butter and mix well.
6. Now add your flour mixture to your butter mixture and mix well.
7. Using a tablespoon, scoop out your dough into small balls.
8. Slightly flatten your dough ball into an oval shape (don’t go too thin).
8. Place on your parchment paper lined baking sheet and top off with sprinkles.
9. Stick your baking lollipop sticks into the bottom center of your cookie dough egg.
10. Cook for 10 minutes.
11. When you take your cookies out of the oven let them cool on your baking sheet for 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a serving platter.
That’s all there is to it! Enjoy!
