10 Fun Kitchen Gifts for the Cook on your Christmas Shopping List

All I want for Christmas is a decent mixer. Well, I’d rather have world peace, but a good mixer would be nice. I’ve had the same little Betty Crocker hand mixer since I got married in 1995. For real. It does the job, considering I’m not a gourmet cook, but since I’m starting to make my own bread and pizza dough (gluten-free) it would be nice to have a new one. At any rate, I did a little wishful thinking when I put this list together. Be sure to check out the retro hot dog toaster. Now that is something fun for the kitchen!

  1. I just saw that hot dog toaster while I was out Christmas shopping last weekend and was tempted to get it, purely for the fun factor! We do have a Keurig (have had one for years) and they are great! They are perfect for us because I don’t drink coffee so a full coffee pot was too much for just my husband. As far as high quality mixers for gluten-free baking, I highly recommend a KitchenAid stand mixer.
