Lavender Vanilla DIY Bath Salts

If you’re looking for a simple yet lovely Mother’s Day gift to give — or to keep for yourself — you’ll want to try this Lavender Vanilla DIY Bath Salt. The lavender is a perfect relaxing scent and the vanilla combination is just plain yummy-smelling. With all-natural ingredients, you don’t have to worry about anything to irritate your skin or any harsh chemicals.

Lavender Vanilla DIY Bath Salts

INGREDIENTS
1 cup Epsom salt
1/2 cup coarse sea salt
1/2 cup baking soda
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
7-8 drops lavender essential oil
Purple food coloring (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and mix until well blended. If you do not use the food coloring, the bath salts will be white in color.

HOW TO USE
1.  Pour 1/4 cup into warm bath water. ENJOY the calming scents of lavender and vanilla!
2.   Relax in bath for 30 minutes.
3.   Pat dry and apply regular moisturizer to skin.

STORAGE
Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
