17 Reasons to Consider Thiel College
When we first started looking into homeschool-friendly colleges and universities, Thiel College stood out as a good option. They are not only welcoming to homeschool graduates, they even offer opportunities for dual enrollment and academic scholarships.
I was compensated for my time to write this post. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.
Thiel College first caught my attention in 2021 (you can read my initial thoughts about Thiel in this post), not long after our oldest daughter graduated high school. I had learned some things from her experience with the college search and wanted to be more prepared for her younger sisters when they got to that stage.
Thiel College: Academic Scholarships
Thiel College takes the success rate of its students seriously. Here are some of the factors that make a difference to students:
- There were $21 million in scholarships awarded in 2021. 99% of students receive some aid.
- More than $47 million recent investments in new construction and renovations, including Rhodehouse Science Building, Beeghly Gymnasium, and student residences.
- 100% of students complete at least one internship or other high impact practice.
- 95% of graduates are employed or continuing their studies in their subject area within a year of graduation.
As you can see from these numbers, Thiel College is invested in providing opportunities for students to receive financial aid, scholarships, and future career support. In uncertain economic times, these things make a huge difference to both students and parents when researching colleges to attend.
